Joseph Strull

Joe has been a member of the League of YES Board of Directors since December of 2016.  He is an experienced commercial real estate professional with an emphasis on complex title insurance matters, acquisitions, sales, property management, development, commercial retail leasing, and securitization financings. Joe has an extraordinary reputation in the legal community and widely considered a title insurance and survey expert.  Joe is currently a Senior Paralegal at Dechert LLP, a law firm based in New York City.

Joe also serves on the Board of the Richard Becher Memorial Foundation for Safety in Sports (|RBMF).  The RBMF was founded as a result of Richie’s sudden death on September 20, 2014, after being struck in the head by a baseball while pitching batting practice to his son’s 12U travel baseball team.  Richie’s family and friends have teamed up to form this Foundation, whose primary mission is to promote a safe environment for players, coaches and spectators participating in youth sports. The Foundation also occasionally provide monetary stipends to college bound athletes from Long Island, NY, who exemplify sportsmanship, teamwork, and dedication to youth sports, in honor of the late Richard Becher

On a personal level, Joe is a “proud” United States Navy Veteran of both Operation Desert Shield and Storm. He served aboard the Aircraft Carriers USS Constellation, USS Independence, USS Carl Vinson and UCC Midway during his five years in the Navy.  His service to his Country is something he holds near and dear to his heart.  He currently resides in Holbrook with his wife Michelle and their 2 children.
